Since FY18, we have continued to integrate sustainability across our business.

FY2018

Released our inaugural Environmental, Social and Governance Report.

FY2019

Commenced reporting in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative Standards.

Engaged EY for the first time to complete limited assurance over sustainability performance indicators.

Reported our annual gender statistics to the Australian Government's Workplace Gender Equality Agency for the first time.

FY2020

Formalised and published externally our Sustainability Policy.

Established a cross-functional Sustainability Working Group.

Developed and externally published our Human Rights Policy.

Reported in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals for the first time.

Reported climate-related disclosures in alignment with the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures.

Commenced reporting to the Bloomberg Gender Equality Framework.

FY2021

Developed our Roadmap to Net Zero Emissions, with a goal to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 announced.

Reported in line with the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board.

Joined the United Nations Global Compact and reported in line with the Ten Principles.

Released our inaugural Modern Slavery Statement as part of the FY21 Annual Reporting Suite.

Implemented our inaugural Reconciliation Action Plan, formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia.

FY2022

Developed and externally published our Climate Change Policy.

Established our Sustainability Committee.

FY2023

Appointed Colleen Hayward AM and Justin Langer AM to the Sustainability Committee to bolster the Committee's experience.

Eliminated gender pay gaps across comparable positions through a company-wide review.

Released our inaugural Tax Transparency Report as part of our annual reporting suite.

FY2024

Appointed Denise McComish to the Sustainability Committee to strengthen the Committee’s knowledge base.​

Established the ASRS and Decarbonisation Steering Committees, accompanied by the formation of the ASRS Working Group.​

Delivered our first Human Rights Strategy for supply, designed to optimise people, systems and processes.​

Published our inaugural Biodiversity Strategy, designed in alignment ​

Updated our Net Zero Roadmap, including a new interim ambition of 45 per cent reduction in scope 1 and 2 emissions intensity for our mining operations by 2035.
