Onslow Iron Project

MinRes' Onslow Iron project will unlock billions of tonnes of stranded iron ore deposits in the west Pilbara region.

Onslow Iron is being developed by MinRes, in a joint venture partnership with Red Hill Iron Ore Joint Venture partners Baowu, AMCI and POSCO.

Onslow Iron includes the development of a dedicated haul road linking the mine site to port, as well as landside and marine facilities at the Port of Ashburton.

The product will be shipped via fully enclosed transhippers to Capesize vessels anchored 40 kilometres offshore.

The project is forecast to ship around 35 million tonnes of iron ore per year, with an expected mine life of 30 plus years.
