We are committed to making meaningful contributions to the communities in which we operate.
Helping build happier, healthier communities
MinRes is proud to be part of the communities where we operate across the Pilbara and Goldfields-Esperance regions and the Shires of Yilgarn, Irwin and Mingenew.
Eligible community groups are invited to apply for grants up to $10,000 to support health and wellbeing, education, Indigenous engagement and environment initiatives.
Understanding the grant process
The following steps outline the process of applying for a MinRes community grant.
MinRes has sole discretion in approving or declining community grant applications and may not choose to support a request in its entirety.
Check your organisation is eligible against the criteria outlined in the application form.
Complete your application and submit it to MinRes during the grant round opening.
MinRes reviews applications and notifies successful and unsuccessful applicants.
Funds distributed to successful applicants.
Once project is completed, applicant to provide receipts and final report to MinRes.

Early consideration
Community projects or events requiring a funding decision during the review period may be considered for early consideration if the application is submitted within seven days of the grant opening.
Early consideration must be mentioned in the event date section.

We're thrilled to support WA programs and events that help create stronger, happier and healthier communities.
This WA charity seeks donations of basic items for people in need and will expand its programs into the Pilbara and Goldfields-Esperance regions with the support of a MinRes community grant.
Ocean Heroes helps people on the autism spectrum boost their self-esteem and make connections through surfing. With MinRes' support, the team visited Esperance and purchased specialized stand-up paddle boards.
This volunteer organisation helps protect the safety of community members in local waters. Thanks to MinRes a community grant, Marine Rescue Onslow can train additional volunteers tow and launch their rescue vessels.
